Here at the Henry S. Jacobs Camp in Mississippi, (and at all of our Union for Reform Judaism Camps), we pride ourselves on the strong, vibrant and healthy community that we create each summer. We also value being a place where children live in and interact with the natural world. It makes perfect sense, then, for us to strive to bring environmental sustainability into our practices and teachings; this not only builds a stronger Jewish community here at camp, but empowers our campers to return home and do mitzvot armed with the tools to make the world a better place.
