The camp experience is powerful and transformative no matter the state of the economy. And, particularly for families in which all members have been feeling the impact, the summer spent at camp is a break from the stress for the kids, and an opportunity for parents to relax and regroup.

When talking about Jacobs Camp with others (which I do frequently!), the topic of “market penetration” often comes up. To fill camp, we must attract about 25% of all of the available Reform Jewish camp-age youth in our catchment area every summer.
